I do! Walk-ins are welcome on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 11 AM to 6 PM, if time is available. However, appointments take priority, so we highly recommend booking in advance to ensure availability.

    Aftercare

    After the appointment!

    1. Always wash your hands before touching your new tattoo.
    2. Keep the wrap on until you are in a safe place to clean it. Do not re-wrap. It’s normal to see some blood or a colored fluid under the bandage.
    3. Remove the bandage slowly and wash the tattoo gently with unscented antibacterial soap and lukewarm water. Use your fingertips to lightly scrub the area, then pat dry with a clean paper towel.
    4. Apply a thin layer of ointment or unscented lotion to the tattoo. (I will provide recommendations and visual examples of safe products.)
    5. Avoid towels or any fabric with fibers, as these can irritate your tattoo and increase the risk of infection.

    Ointment

    • Clean your tattoo at least twice a day with unscented antibacterial soap and water before applying a fresh layer of ointment.
    • Use ointment for 5–7 days, applying only a thin layer each time.
    • Stop using ointment when your tattoo starts to feel itchy—this is a sign it’s healing and ready for moisture in the form of lotion.
    • Use clean bed linens and towels throughout the healing process, especially if you have pets that shed.
    • After one week, switch to an unscented lotion. Avoid lotions with beads, sparkles, or fragrances, as alcohol in scented lotions can dry out your tattoo and cause scabbing.
    • Remember: scabbing is bad; peeling is good!

    Saniderm/ Second Skin

    • I recommend leaving the bandage on for 5–7 days.
    • If the bandage leaks or comes off prematurely, remove it and clean the area as instructed above.
    • When removing the bandage, do so gently against your skin under warm running water. Take your time—don’t just rip it off.
    • Once the bandage is removed, clean the area thoroughly following the instructions above.

    PEELING IS GOOD/SCABBING IS BAD!

PEELING IS GOOD, SCABBING IS BAD

As your new tattoo heals, it may become very itchy.

    • Do not scratch or pick at your tattoo.
    • Your tattoo will naturally peel—let the dead skin fall off on its own. This is a sign your tattoo is almost healed and now is not the time to ruin it!
    • Love pats are fine to help with the itch, but be gentle.
    • Keep the area moisturized with unscented lotion to relieve dryness and itching.

    Ointment & Lotion Recommendations

    • Aquaphor
    • Hemps
    • Lubriderm

Avoid anything scented or containing beads or glitter, as these can cause irritation.

What works for your skin, works for you! As long as your tattoo heals well and the colors stay vibrant, stick with the products that suit you best.
